I have become a couch potato and it is showing. I always walk my dog every morning but it only winds up being for about 15 minutes max. Not enough to help me lose weight. Just 2 weeks ago I was diagnosed as having mild arthritis in my lower back and hips and a major factor in that was gaining so much weight and not exercising enough. I eat fairly well, not a ton of calories or fat is in my diet, in fact I eat a lot of unfried foods and alot of veggies and fruit but it’s the kickin back on my couch that is packing on the pounds for me. I don’t have enough income to get to a gym and buy a gym membership. I have 560 square feet of living space and a couple of 2 lbs free weights and a hand gripper. Is there anything I could use around my house or anything free that I can pick up and use to help me with exercising? Also any ideas or tips for getting motivated would be greatly appreciated. I also find it hard during those certain times of the month.

How I did it: I had already had this project and had started it a few years back but I got caught up with other projects and became very distracted. Finally I picked it back up and was determined to get it done and I am proud of my accomplishment. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I got this cross stitch kit from my mother in law at Christmastime one year and there was just so much going on with my life at that time that I would start it up and then stop it and I could never wind up just sitting down and finishing it until this year. I was focused and determined to finally getting it done and I did. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I achieved this goal first by taking a local jazz dance class and once I realized it was something I wanted to continue doing I decided to take dance for actors in college as well as ballet lessons. The only time I had to pay for my lessons was when I took them from a private instructor, the local jazz dance class. Read how I did it…

Pretty much every day I will get outside and walk my dog but I can never seem to get myself motivated enough to walk by myself so I finally got out today and walked by myself, it was only for about 30 minutes, but that is 30 minutes I have done today more than I did yesterday! :)
I am getting more and more excited as this goal is nearing completion! At least I can get some of these goals accomplished so far! LOL. Please enjoy this most recent pic and I am slowly making more and more progress with this one every day!
