stop my husband breaking things when he is angry

My husband breaks things (very expensive things) that he can grab when he gets angry with me. I have been trying to making him stop doing this but I don’t think it’s working. It is really frustrating to be in a marriage where one breaks things that we have brought as a couple. It is ok for him to get angry with me but I don’t think it is right for him to break stuff.
