How I did it: I'm not a master at marriage but I think that finally finding a person who is marriage material is a lot like a person trying to win a contest. If she is only focused on winning there's a high probablity that she won't. But if she's focused on doing her best and focused completely on the task (be it a work of art, a race, or "Who Wants to be a Millionaire") she just might win. And if she doesn't win she is at least in a better posit… Read how I did it…
I’ve been trying to redesign my children’s clothing business calls Buttons & Rainbows but was having a hard time. My goal is to bring creativity to people and help them to see that bringing creativity into your life isn’t as hard or mysterious as people think. But I was sick of trying to sell a product (the clothing and other accessories). I wasn’t until a local presenter and career counselor said, “Well, Sara, since you want to show people how to bring creativity back into their lives, why don’t you just, well, show them!” Duh!!! So I’m starting to create a creativity workshop. It will still be called Buttons & Rainbows to signify that creativity can come just as easy as buttoning your buttons or tying your shoes.
My goal is to give my first workshop to the local Ambucs in June.
I’ve already got a bunch of ideas in the making about these workshops. Books to read, people to talk to, plans to plan. But first things first: That first workshop with Ambucs.
