sleep less (read all 4 entries…)
So NOT worth it!! 4 months ago

I’ve tried to do this. I can’t. I got down to about 5 hours, and was doing fine, until about 2 months in. I read something that you’re body develops a “sleep debt” .. and that everything you miss, you will eventually make up. The adult human body needs between 7-9 hours of sleep (depending on genetics). I require 8. I realized how much more productive, awake, aware, and happy I am when I’m going off 8 hours of sleep. The benefits of less sleep sound amazing, but i dont think they can beat the health problems that are associated with it, as well as the bad attitude, the sleeping.. feeling like crap sensation you get, and the lack of awareness you get. Try if you like, more power to you if you can acutlly pull it off, but i think the best form of sleep is a consistent time to bed and time to rise for sufficient time.
