Get a tattoo (read all 2 entries…)
Changed my mind 3 weeks ago

I used to be really against the idea of getting a tattoo. I guess majorly because I wasn’t really sure of what I wanted (REALLY wanted), and now that I have the same idea in my head for almost a year, I think I should go ahead with it.

And I grew to love big tattoos, and hopefully I can save up enough to get one by the end of 2010.

Work at home
Freelancing 3 weeks ago

My previous company just closed down suddenly and I was terminated. I still have one more module to complete for my diploma, so I don’t think it’s a good idea to get a full-time job just yet. Trying out freelancing, but being a noob so far, I’m still trying to work it out.

I might have to postpone it... 3 weeks ago

...due to financial reasons :(

Maybe it won’t be such a bad thing. More time to save up, then I wouldn’t feel too much pressure too.

Or not? 12 months ago

Designers don’t really need a degree.. Sure, it would look good on a resume, but I could take that time to build up my portfolio instead.

Hmm… what do you think?

get a cat
My unexpected birthday presents :) 2 years ago

My birthday’s on Thursday and I’ve been wishing for a cat. Not that my parents allow though, but it is just nice thinking about owning one.

My cousin found 2 kittens 2 weeks ago and has been taking care of them. Unfortunately, her mother is making her give it away. She came to me and asked me to take them. I know I won’t be able to keep them, so I’ll just give them a home till I find them proper owners, who will love and care for them.

But my parents are growing to love them so I’m allowed to keep them now. I got my birthday wish!!!

They’ve been with me for a week today, and they’ve grown a bit already. I love them so much! :)

meet Christina Aguilera
The Greatest Show on Earth 2 years ago

I was 11ish when she released Genie and the media was always comparing her with Britney. And honestly, I preferred her to Britney. But I only FELL IN LOVE with her when I Turn To You came out. There was the period of time where I have her face covering every inch of my wall, I have tapes of her concerts that I recorded off HBO, her VCDs, all her albums and FINALLY, she came to Singapore for one night only concert! It was a mind-blowing experience. I still cannot believe I heard her live. She is so beautiful, so talented, so… GREAT!

Get a digital SLR camera
I got mine today!!! 2 years ago

I bought a Nikon D80 at Harvey Norman today. They were selling at the same price as Best Denki for SGD2288. However, they had free gifts! A tripod stand, a bag, two 2GB memory cards, a cleaning towel and an addition lens (70-300mm).

Right now, I’m getting the battery charged and I can start shooting! I CANNOT WAIT!!!

Phantom Of The Opera was phenomenal. The props were great, the costumes were great and how I wish I could sing just half as good as them.

My favourite scene was the Masquerade party!

5. Becoming more hardworking, neater & procrastinating less.
6. Cooked 2 successful dinners with my boyfriend and still counting!
7. Stopped self-mutilation, abusing pills and drinking.
8. Found myself a job- a step to becoming financially independent.
9. Improving on my self-confidence.

Become Financially Independent

I’m not an impractical person. I don’t dream of living like a millionaire and own houses like celebrities in MTVCribs.

I just want to be well to do, have my own place to stay, live comfortably, buy stuff that I want to buy and still have money to save up for my children.

Learn to cook

I cooked white rice, having in mind what my mom always tell others bout cooking white rice.

Didn’t turn out too good, but was still edible :D

Also cooked curry chicken. Using some ready-made paste thing. Tasted fantastic.
