Ride the Aerial Tram up the Palm Springs mountains.
It was so scary. 22 months ago

The whole way up I thought I was going to die, especially when the cabin would sway back-and-fourth on the cable. Once we got up there it was unimpressive, even to me, who had never seen snow. Then, we had to ride back down. It was expensive, and awful.

get stung by a jellyfish

There was a jellyfish boom at an Orange County beach a few summers back, it being my favorite beach, I didn’t let it stop me from swimming there. Even though you could see them everywhere, my friends and I decided to stay in the water and, after being stung six or seven times you can’t feel it anymore (;
