I don’t ever have problems remembering peoples’ names, especially if I make a conscious effort to do so. The only reason you can’t remember peoples’ names is that you don’t pay attention to anything or anyone but yourself. Get off your high horse and devote some time and energy to others, especially if you know you’re gonna need/want to know their names in the future. Try repeating their name after you are first introduced and shake hands… otherwise I got nothin.

florence isn’t the greatest place to stop and have a coffee… the coastal/port towns are much more rewarding! Try venice or Genoa.
Love my pom...
My pom was given to the pound (twice!) because the people that took her “didn’t like her attitude” or thought she was mean/snappy. Well, she is, but she’s also one of the greatest dogs i’ve ever had, full of personality! They can be frightening but they’re worth it. You will never be bored with a pom. I love her SO much and it kills me to think she would have been PUT TO SLEEP if I hadn’t taken her.
If you get a pom, don’t expect them right off the bat to be little friendly puffballs, and don’t just give up on it if it growls at you! You’d be missing out on a wonderful dog.
