I started using a Firefox plugin called leechblock.
I do web design, so I can’t just get away from the computer.

I can right click on a time wasting page and add it to the list of disallowed sites. BUT the cool thing is, I can set a number of minutes that those sites are available (1 hr a day) or (10 min an hour), etc.
It’s kind of tricky to set up, but I love it.
