I want to take a conservation law enforcement course, but I need to upgrade my high school courses before I will get accepted. So this year I will take care of all the pre-requisite courses. But Im always discouraged because I have second thoughts about it all … ‘is this the career I want?’ ‘does it suit me as a person, does it suit my lifestyle??’
Ack, I dont know. But I figure a step in the direction of getting back to school is better than no step at all!

This is going to take a while, I dont feel ready or skilled enough to take on what I want to accomplish, so I will continue writing short stories before I write THE MOST EPIC HISTORICAL FANTASY novels of all time. Haha. At least my friends will read them.

Heading out in a few days with my tent, a bit of supplies, and, unfortunatly, my car. I will be driving to work nearly every weekday, which is OK because I am a surveyor and I either work in the bush or with grubby construction crews, so being haggard will not be a problem. My solar shower will be hot when I get home (heh.. home) and I can throw some grub on the fire and sit back with a brewski and a book.
It will be nice to be liberated from bills for a bit, but the next question is, will I stay the winter as well? Build a teepee, a yurt?? Canadian rockies get pretty damn cold in the winter… we will see…
