I passed the CPA exam!
Started studying using Becker at the end of August 2007. Then took four parts every two weeks. Finally got my letter today.
Oct 16, 2007 Aud – 82
Oct 30, 2007 REG – 83
Nov 17, 2007 BEC – 83
Nov 30, 2007 FAR – 78
FAR I am very happy about, because I didn’t even touch homework for last 5 chapters, skipped pensions, and studied until late last evening before the exam, getting deferred taxes into my head. Then had computer crash at the testing center and a simulation with the error in it.
REG I was sure I failed, I came out almost crying.
I stopped doing Becker simulated final exams after Regulation course, they were too depressing as I was getting scores in the upper 60s.
Moral of the story: never give up and believe in yourself.

Does anyone know how often and what time does NASBA update it’s online scores? Is it once a day? What time?
Also, I cannot see my scores online, but I saw my name on the Passing List for my state which was uploaded today. I assume this is the list of the people who passed the CPA exam? Or not?

I’ve graduated yesterday. Got my diploma cover that says to allow 12 weeks for diploma and degree conferral. Another 3 months to wait for my CPA scores…I took first part 2 month ago last part 2 weeks ago, add possibly another 12 weeks to add to that. And the 18 month rolling period applies to me as well as to anyone else. I keep seeing people who took exam same time as I did get their scores, cheer or get ready to study more, yet I am in this position of not knowing anything. 4 scores to wait and wait and wait for….Happy Holidays, eh?
