Took the test on October 1, and was actually easier than I thought. Got my score back last week, however, and I only scored in the 91st percentile – Mensa takes 98th percentile and up.

In my quest I’ve met a few Mensans and they are great people which I’ve enjoyed the company of, so definitely will try again, not removing it from the list yet!

You’ll notice I said run for office, “winning” isn’t critical to having this checked off. :)

Yes, I ran for school trustee, and lost (5th out of 6). But the experience was enriching and I learned a whole lot from it. WIll I do it again? I don’t know, maybe, we’ll see.

A rather odd “goal”, considering I’m a devoted Christian and all, but I do definitely want to read the Koran to learn more about Muslims and what they believe, they probably know more about my faith than I know about theirs. What I do know of it is that it’s a very misunderstood book, especially by the Western World.

I don’t intend to convert to Islam or anything, but I am a very curious person of the world around me, especially what makes others tick.
