How I did it: I went to India and found a place through friends of friends to go visit. I want to go back... I feel like I only got a taste of the experience and I want so much more. Read how I did it…
I started reading it when I got it for Christmas in 1994. I finished it right before Christmas 2007. It was interesting how my perspective changed as I grew up. Regardless of your religious beliefs, it’s an interesting piece of history. The hardest part is getting through the boring genealogy.
So I drank the brew… did the vomit thing… no big trip. Might have been the ph of the water. BUT… I did it… and I would be willing to do it again if it came my way.
I learned to be comfortable with myself. I learned that I am human and can make mistakes and still be alright!
I’m so SO SO glad I did this. Now the world feels smaller! I went with Mike, Mattie, and Justine. It was a wonderful bonding experience… but I’m so glad to be back with the rest of my homies!
The trees were magical. The ocean was haunting. So so much beauty of all sorts. The mountains left me breathless.
Canada is a beautiful beautiful country.
