I want to get over myself. Leave behind the things that keep me weighted to the earth; like abandonment, jealousy, fear that I won’t please my father, letting go of things that I have outgrown, but still give me pleasure, old ways of reacting, defensiveness, and judgement. Instead, I want to be FREE. I want to live inside effortlessness, go with the flow and know that I am here to be happy. And remember that spirit is all around me, inside me, and guiding me to awaken to infinity, and GET OVER MY sELF.

I play in a percussion band in St.Louis called Joia. We play rhythms from around the world, including Carnivale. It is a very fast song, and we are getting better and faster with the rhythms, although I am sure we wouldn’t even share that info with people from Brazil (they may want us to play for them). Anyway, we are a tight family of friends, and my dream is to travel with them for Carnivale and share that experience with them.

My friend Scott and I are going Salsa dancing about once a week. We are getting better, but now school will have to be the priority.
