How I did it: Called a spa on South Street, made an appointment, paid her $25 and put on a paper bikini...the rest was up to her.  This is not for the pain punks or shy folks.  You will have to be semi-exposed and waxing does hurt!  But it's so worth it.  The look and the feel of it is amazing.  And my BF loves it ;) Read how I did it…

to OWNING MY OWN BUSINESS! I am looking into opening a day care/after-school center for children/adolescents. This is going to require some serious research and work…more on this later.

Almost there... 10 months ago

this item will be checked off of my list and complete as of February 6th 2009 :) My boyfriend, Khalil, and I booked a trip late last year to vacation in Jamaica this year. We saved for almost 3 months to be able to afford this trip. I sacraficed my weekly manicures and pedicures (haven’t had either since November!). This was a luxury I treated myself to for working hard and volunteering when not doing so. We discussed it off & on for years…and decided one day out of the blue let’s do it! We’re going! I really had my heart set on going in February. Feb. 6th is Bob Marley Day for the entire island of Jamaica. It’s also his birthday (and my little niece Carina too <3). So we are flying out of Philly Feb. 5th. straight flight to Montego Bay. We are staying at Sandals Grande Ocho Rios. On the 6th we are taking a jeep safari from our resort to Bob's grave. I am more than excited! So happy and so anxious to see this beautiful country w/ my "boo", my best friend. I went to Jamaica this past summer 2008 w/ Destiny. We didn't go to St. Ann's parrish (where Bob is) and it wasn't romantic being w/ my best GIRL friend, lol. So this while be Khalil's 1st time going to the island. I will post pics and I'm sure I'll have TONS MORE to blog/write about after actually going and visiting St. Ann's. I am expecting lots of Rastas, hippies, maybe some of the Marleys since it's a big day and not just any other when I will be there! I'm sure it's going to be a good time and a beautiful place. More on this later xo
