I had mine done 4 months ago (with PTFE) and at the moment everything looks good. The edges are still a little red, but it’s a surface piercing, so that’s no surprise..
My piercer is a really great guy and I have the impression that he’s very well trained and knows what he’s doing – he also uses some kind of medical laser which really speeds up the healing process. Unfortunately, this thing is quite expensive (like 5000 euros?) and there are hardly any piercers who use it.
He said that my first one is healed well enough that I could get another one. Maybe I’ll get it next week :)
I think I want to have 3 at the end.. I’ll see.. I don’t have any other piercings, I don’t think that more obvious piercings would suit me. And my nape piercing is just there for me, not to show it off to anyone. I really enjoy it and hope it will stay with me for a while :)
