How I did it: It was gradual. I went to HS with a bunch of douche bags who didn't make any effort to know me and mostly ignored me as if I was nothing, so inherited that and I saw that as a fault of my own instead of theirs. So forgetting that was the first step. Realizing that there were people who wanted to get to know me for what was inside and wanted to make the effort. How I did it: I live in China. I applied for the job online and got accepted because I have a white face, seriously, and can speak English. So it is real easy. Applying for a work visa was pretty straightforward but timely and slightly costly. Taking the plane here was long and boring, even with a week stop in Germany (which was nice). Once at the university, the staff helps you A LOT with everything. Lots of paperwork. Read how I did it…

I went from May 31 to June 28th, my second trip to France. I loved it just as much, maybe even more than the first time with the gorgeous weather (surprise surprise in Brittany, haha.)
