See if there is an aerialist group or an acro yoga group local to you, join them. Wait 6 months. This will happen, like it or not, and you will have fun doing it!

Done.
It took moving, having a baby, and getting tired of clutter, but I think I’m FINALLY at the point where everything will be used by me at some point in the future and there isn’t useless crap (although pretty crap) hanging around.
It was awesome. I finally popped the fire cherry.
My learning of poi will continue, of course. At this point, I’m starting on “expert” moves. It is a blast. Just keep pushing past the plateaus!
This wasn’t easy. It involved eating at home, getting used to cooking once every day or so, and getting in the habit of keeping healthy (but tasty) foods in the house.
The big challenge really is just getting into the habit of avoiding everything corn syrup. Really, once you do that, half of your battle is over.
Trader Joe’s is a great place for us to find food that is made with wholesome ingredients. It is a relief not to have to read every package looking at the content of junk and find one on a shelf of twenty that matches our profile.
We shop Farmer’s Markets for produce, which is usually fresher and cheaper than anywhere else.
We shop Costco for those items that we really do need in bulk, like cheese (we feed a lot of people, not just us). Costco is superior to Sam’s club in that they actually do have a decent quantity of healthy products, while Sam’s, well, they are related to Walmart, home of the plastic crap.
I just found out that I have high cholesterol, so this isn’t so much of a joke anymore.
I’m a perfect weight (no fat at all really) but apparently drinking cream when I need to catch up on calories is not the best choice.
Mmmm… delicious cream.
was to find someone to date with a work and school schedule which correlates with mine or at least someone willing to get up with me. It is lovely.
Really the new boyfriend got it, but it is nice to have a cheerful cutie in my life I don’t have to clean the poop from!
mortgage worked out-turns out going with the right broker makes all the difference. I’m moved in and enjoying life… mostly. Other than I now get to fix my own things.
It just isn’t meant to be. I mean, I’ve been stretching every time I skate for almost a year now with no improvement. My body refuses. Oh well!
Roller derby really helped with this. Being on the track with people who have an actual dislike for you and still not losing your temper when you are hit or they play illegally is worth something and has taught me about how to handle normal life, when they aren’t trying to kill you at least…
This is totally not worth it. Too many of my friends keep getting injured. I’ll just have to find something else to do.
