How I did it: The first week is a pain, the weeks after are a bit annoying, but the relief afterward is worth every second of unpleasantness. I actually woke up during the procedure, and it wasn't bad at all, no pain, no freak out, nothing really scary was happening. With the brain fog from the anesthesia, it was just like a normal dentist visit. The put me back to sleep immediately, and the whole thing wasn't traumatic at all.
