become better at small-talk
I think the time as come.

I think I am ready to mark this as done.

Of course there is always improving to be done, but the day before yesterday at a job orientation, I felt at ease chatting up a fellow new hire while we waited for orientation, and had good conversation with my future Assistant Manager. I’ve been told I’m personable, friendly, and assertive, and while I don’t know if that is true, it’s a far cry from the comparisons of even a few years back of being painfully uncomfortable. I’m am introvert, no doubt about that, but I think I’ve developed this skill enough to function comfortably, and maybe even with a measure of confidence.

Finish my DAR application (read all 2 entries…)
Grr!!!!

I finished the darn thing and submitted it. Unfortunately right after that, I ran into some potentially serious errors that may derail my membership before it even gets off of the ground.

Oh well. At least I can mark this as done. Nothing to do now but fix what needs to be fixed and hope it works out for the best.
