I finished the 107-page “Tales of Beedle the Bard” in three days. I ended up buying “Watchmen” after rave reviews, especially from TIME Magazine. I mean, they don’t name just any book as one of the best books of the 21st century, right?
I’m really excited for it. If I finish it by April, I’m hoping to go see it in the theaters. But I swear, if I hate this book, I’m going to start reading books that no one has ever heard of! Hype will be my enemy. haha

Ted Dekker – “White”
I am so done with Ted Dekker. This book was the third in his Circle Trilogy, and the fourth of his that I read, and I’m officially not impressed. My nickname for him is Anti-Climax. haha
That’s what I figured out last night. In three books of the series, I think there were two parts where I was on the edge of my seat, figuratively. I did figure out this ending, too, a few chapters before the “big finish”, and when I got there, I was so less than impressed with the way it was written.
It’s too bad. I wanted so bad to love his books. But I think I’m done with him for a while.
March’s book is one I got for Christmas that I’m so excited about. J.K. Rowling’s “The Tales of Beedle the Bard”. It’s super short so I’ll either be taking a break from reading or actually read two in March!

I have no idea how I stopped. It’s been something I’ve wanted to do since high school, but bitten nails sort of became…who I was. The ultimate tomboy. But at the beginning of the year, something just clicked and I haven’t bitten one nail for months.
With a good nail file in hand, I’ve actually become obsessed with my nails looking clean and taken care of. I hate having them long, so the file works for me. It’s very weird. I really have no idea where this came from. But yay!?
