- Actually being able to move after an entire night sleeping on the floor (sleepover party in H’s room last night). I thought I’d never be able to do that again, but 2+ years past having the last kid and finally I may be getting my joints back.
- Lunch and a movie with M. She was in a fabulous mood. The movie had her sobbing and we had to leave, though. Ah! Totally scary!
- My kids. Oh, my kids. H was a whining maniac today, and M has regressed to grunting when spoken to by most adults, but they’re just so lovely and sweet and they bring me so much joy. I need to get back to doing my daily lists about them.

- Great day with the kids! Full, but somehow not overly tiring, although poor H with his 30-minute nap might disagree.
- A GIANT fillet of wild salmon for $6.83. Frozen, so the texture was a bit different, but the flavour was fine. Lately it’s been so hard to find wild salmon in the grocery stores that even if I did want to pay $20 for a meal for the four of us, I couldn’t.
- Exchanging “stories from when we were little” with M. I tried to explain The Flintstones to her, and told her on special days I’d watch it while eating lunch, often mac & cheese with milk in the little red plastic cup (that my parents still own – imagine all the toxins in there!), and she told me about learning the Jitterbug at dance class (a month ago).

- Monday, and no kids, no alarm woke me up. I woke up on my own at 8:15am, the sun was shining, and I was relaxed.
- Exercise.
- Making dinner without the help of the television.
- Coming up with a plan for tomorrow. I have a long list of things to do on nice days this summer, but no list of things to do on rainy ones.
