I got the chance to attend a Vipassana retreat last May. And for a while I thought I found inner peace. Things made so much sense when you viewed them through “Vipa-goggles”. After getting back from the retreat, my old problems started facing me again, and for a while I was able to recall the lessons I learned in Vipa. I started forgetting the lessons as the weeks passed though. Now I’m back to my former self. :( I blame my lack of practice. I should’ve meditated everyday. I still know how to though. I need to make sure I get at least an hour in every day.

I just thought of a perfect thing for me to try this week. PULSE YOGA! I’ve been hearing lots of stories about it, and I’ve been wanting to attend one of the classes but I’ve been putting it off. But I’m motivated to really try something new every weeek for the next 2 months. Lets do this! http://www.pulse-yoga.com/
I started taking violin lessons around March this year. And at first I loved it. I fell in love with every sound each stroke of the bow made. But when I was about to complete my 20th session (I only paid for 20 sessions at first), my teacher approached me and said something that upset me about the means of payment. So I just stopped with those lessons. I don’t want to stop learning how to play the violin though. Its a beautiful-sounding instrument, and I feel so majestic playing it. I’ll probably just look for another teacher.
