How I did it: I've given blood about a dozen times now but won't be able to give again until a year after my latest tattoo, so as soon as I can after the 13th Dec 09 I'll be donating again. Read how I did it…
As it is after midnight it means this morning at 9.45am I will be doing my first session on the postnatal ward as a breastfeeding peer supporter. feeling really nervous about it but looking forward to it too.
I did this in my last house but so far in this one (6 years) I have only grown rhubarb and strawberries, plus the apples and cherry trees that were already here. Well this week a dozen fresh strawberry plants were put in a planter and some cut and come again salad and herbs were sown. The larger herb bed has been dug over and two raised beds have been built ready to sow into at the weekend.
The compost bins were set up a couple of years ago and have been receiving peelings, hedge trimmings, grass cuttings, cardboard etc ever since and the muck in them is beautiful black stuff so that will be getting added to the raised beds.
