1. My busy social life and growing number of friends – it’s kept me out of 43 things for a while, but it’s certainly making my life enjoyable
2. At this time of year, of course family and friends – I’m home in Melbourne for Christmas at the moment, which is lovely
3. My health and fitness – I’ve made huge life changes in the past few years and it’s wonderful to be reaping the benefits
4. My laptop – it’s a great way to stay in touch with people
5. My niece and nephews – who will all go running with me and make sure I keep up my fitness program over the holiday season

Seeing that I’m not going to be in Canberra for the rest of the year I’d better update this one!
Akuna Club – went there with my friend Alex for Christmas Drinks. I’ve walked past a number of times so it was interesting to see what it was like. Nothing to write home about but another new place.
Kaleen Pool – have been there a few times for the Women’s Triathlon Training program. Would never have gone that far to go swimming without the training program, so it’s been interesting for me.
Musica e – a pizza restaurant in Belconnen where the owner comes and sings. Great fun.
Auditorium at the Vikings Sports Club in Erindale – we went to the ACT Fitness Industry awards. My personal trainer was nominated for an award (by us) and was a finalist – a great night out in a really good venue – she didn’t win which just goes to show the strength of the winning nominee.
I didn’t do the third race because the weather was terrible, and I had one of my nephews with me. I didn’t want his first fun run to be ruined.
However, I did take him and another nephew and niece along to the Olympic Dream fun run instead.
Am currently working on my next set of running goals, which will see me complete a half marathon in May next year.
