I bought a home, nice starter home. Had the home inspected when purchased, everythings fine. 3 yrs later, 14k worth of foundation problems. I will do this again, but this time I know better. Tips:
1. Interview realtors, don’t just use someone because your friend or family member liked them.
2. Negotiate more on things with the house- even if the owners seem like they won’t do it.
3. Don’t use the home inspector your realtor recommends.

You feel that way now....

When I moved away, I liked it at first. I began to get homesick like crazy. I missed my family, my friends, my home town (Nashville, Tennessee). I made arrangements to move back home later on, had to quit my job (that was good!), sell a lot of my things (too far a drive from l.a.). Here I am, back home. And you know what? I think I just romantized (sp) it, the grass is always greener.
