I actually completed this about a year ago, but I have been horrible about documenting my completed “things”.
Got my passport just 3 days before we left for Mexico. Went to Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. Overall, it was a neat trip but I am bumbed because I never got a stamp in my passport. They just scanned my passport electronically.
Even though the world is more high-tech these days..I think they should still give peeps stamps. Isn’t that one life’s little joys…trying to get as many stamps on your passport as you can?!?

Day 1: I made it through day one. I did alright, but I was sooo tempted to pitch this whole thing around lunch time when I could smell all the food around me, and seeing all my co-workers chowing down. I would have gave anything for a Chimichanga! But instead I had apple juice….
Day 2: For some reason today was a hundred times easier than day one. Yesterday I was beginning to think that I wouldn’t make it one more day. But today I feel like I might be able to make it through the whole week.
Days 3-4: I came down with a bug and not feeling well at all. It was not related to the juice fast, but I have to say that since I was so sick I was not really in the mood to eat anyways…
Day 5 -Last Day-Alright, so I didn’t make it a full week, but I lasted all week at work. But in light of being sick and some other factors I decided to end my fast after five days.
Overall, I would be lying if I said it was easy, but I will say that it was a lot more attainable than I thought it was going to be. I don’t know that I can tell how much I benefitted from this, I think most of it might be mental. But I would be willing to try this again.

Okay, so I have decided to commit to this. I didn’t realize how incredibly expensive juicers are. So I am going to try to do it consuming organic juices (such as Odwalla). If I decide this is something I want to do again, I might check into a juicer at that point.
