So I’ve changed the goal, since i am officially a full time student now having a goal of “going to university” seemed a little silly. It also wasn’t very specific or measurable. so the new goal is to finish this thing up and get a degree already. I’m thinking May 2011 is a good target, but i might stretch it out if i can find an internship and make a little cash along the way.

How I did it: disgusting tasting nail polish, it makes you very aware of what your doing when there is a consequence (vile taste in your mouth) i became very conscious of my nail biting behaviour. Read how I did it…
How I did it: i signed up to be in this craft fair that was part of a much larger arts event. i had to submit work be judged and pay a fee, it was sort of a big deal when i was accepted and i felt really great, but as it turned out the show was a waste of time effort and money, we were put in a bad part of the strip in which the festival was taking place and only drunks and hobos showed up to see what we doing there. one lady actually told me there was… Read how I did it…
Okay, so its been 3 weeks since I bought the nail polish stuff, and let me assure you of this: it works.
I applied it once and it tasted so awful that quickly learned not to put my fingers anywhere near my mouth, even long after it wore off. this week was a little stressful and I caught myself getting back into the habit so put on another coat of paint. i find keeping my nails cut really short helps as ive been scratching at my cuticles with my fingernails as well, such a bizarre thing to do.
Anyway this is coming along, i don’t feel like I’m ready to call in a “done it” yet, but getting there.
I’ve never been a good writer. To be honest I don’t know how to structure an essay build a thesis or anything like that, I just learned how to put a bibliography together last week and I’m 36 years old.
In my defense I can safely say I’ve never been asked to. I went french school as kid and my teachers were more concerned with making sure in didn’t speak English that making sure i could write in either language. After that was art school, and not much essay writing happened there, I’m in university now and for the first time I have to write things and make sense, so improving my writing seems like a good goal. I’m taking an essay writing class to help with the transition, ill try to keep you informed on my progress. stay tuned.
