How I did it: It took me 4 years to complete my Master's because I did it one class at a time. It was really hard sometimes because I was teaching full time and I had a baby about 2 years into it and then became a single parent 3 years into it. However, I had a wonderful support system. There were a group of us going through the classes together and that really helped. Read how I did it…
I have been a student since I was 5. I have taken my last class and I will officially have a Masters in Curriculum & Instruction with a Specialization in Reading one week before I turn 30. It not only gives me raise but it has made me a better teacher. I not only have a wealth of knowledge but I have learned how to critically and thoughtfully analyze research to see it for its true worth.
