California is definitely worth doing. You have to go to King’s Canyon, Yosemite, Giant Sequoia, Big Sur, the san Diego zoo, Hurst, the desert, and Disneyland. Do not go to LA unless you have something specific you want to do there. It seemed like the crappiest city I have ever been in. The California infrastructure is the worst I’ve ever seen, and the difficulty of getting good food was a bit of a problem. Other than that, California is great.

How I did it: We booked a tour with black cat cruises in Akaroa, NZ and swam with wild Hectors dolphins. We were taken out to where the baymeets the pacific and made noises until the dolphins came up to uss, and we entertained them while they entertained us.
