Thank u so much to those who had cheered for me.
Alhamdulillah, I had enrolled myself into Hifz School and learning the hifz of Al-Quran and Hadith. I had done Juz 30 then special surahs Al-Mulk, Al-Insan, AlWaqiah, Ar-Rahmaan and As-Sajdah. After the test, insya-Allah will be proceeding to Juz 29, 28…
Hadiths, so far, I had memorized about 10 out of 40.
I find that the hadith are easier to memorize short term but Al-Quran is hard but easy for long term memory.
This time in my Hifz class, there are more adults and I find that it’s easy to relate to them. There are kids too and Ustaz are able to juggle 2 different groups of people in one class, alhamdulillah.
The Ustaz who taught us,actually lived in another country and everytime had to travel about 2-3 hours to and fro. I felt that is very inspiring. Whatever distances I had to cover and how tired I am, whenever i think about my Ustaz journey, I felt that I am in much better position than Ustaz. Thus I felt that if Ustaz can do it, so can !!
Ustaz even challenge us that if he can do it within 3 years, he believed we can do in even shorter time than him, he suggested 1.5 years …hmm….insya-Allah. I hope I can be a good calibre Hifz teacher one day.Amin.
Rerememorizing it again is tough cause al-mursalat has 10 repetitive sentences. Al-Insan is ok. still got 9 surah to go.
