How I did it: Really, it was just a matter of knuckling down on it and just being driven. I watched my calories on TheDailyPlate.com, and then on top of that, I found a few activities that were more fun to me than exercise: cycling and rock climbing. I started commuting by bike EVERYWHERE. And, on top of that, I got addicted to rock climbing and was at the gym climbing 3'ish nights a week without fail. i’ve been going to my local gym for the past 3 months, bouldering and climbing at least 2-3 times a week. i can hold my own on some overhangs pretty easy now, and i’m only getting stronger.
i’ve been climbing 2-3 nights a week for the past 3 months, and i’m already solidly climbing 5.8 and 5.9 routes. i’ve met some incredible people at my local gym, and not to mention, i’ve shaved 3 inches off my belt-line.
