How I did it: When I was growing up, and actually up until very recently, the best way I could calm myself down was to throw a big fit first. So, I would gather up some dishes or figurines or anything breakable, and then find a nice solid wall towards which I would hurl the aforementioned items as strongly and quickly as possible. How I did it: On October 31, 2007, we were at the courthouse supposedly giving a friend of ours a tour of the downtown architecture in our city. How I did it: I was 17, he was 22. We met at Treasure Lake Job Corps in Indiahoma, Oklahoma. After nearly five years of growing up and lessons learned, we found ourselves the proud parents of a beautiful baby girl. Later on that same year, he threw me a surprise wedding.
