I’m studying for computer science degree, but since I don’t really want to do any jobs normally associated with cs, I thought getting a second degree in business would not hurt. So I’m applying in spring 2009 to business school. There is an entry exam involving five books, so this means that I have some extra studying to do in the coming months.

The hardest thing with this goal is that I can’t seem to figure out what I would blog about. I have many interests but nothing that stands out from the rest. And I don’t think writing about million different things is a good way to go either. That said, if I soon can’t think of any particular subject that I want to concentrate my blogging on, I may do exactly that. If nothing else, at least it would be good practice in writing.
Sleeping is boring and unproductive so I want to minimize the amount spent on it. I want to do this without compromising my health, so I will track how I feel on differing amounts of sleep. I currently sleep around 7.5 hours per day and my first goal is to reduce this to 6 hours.
Actually this has been my goal for some time now, but “morning me” does not seem to agree with regular me. If I don’t absolutely have to get up at a certain time, my mind will not allow me to get up after 6 hours. It will come up with all sorts of weird reasons why I don’t need to get up yet, which all seem very convincing at the time…So I can’t trust “morning me”. For that reason, it seems I need another method besides pure will power if I wish to succeed at getting up after 6 hours of sleep every day.
