I haven’t had a regular sode now for 4 weeks. I’ve had a few diet sodas, but I think I’ve finally broken the addiction! I used to drink huge sodas all day long. Now, I have only half cans or small diet sodas every few days. I suspect the giving up soda is a huge contributor to my weightloss. I have been eating much healthier food, but not relly exercising. As of last Friday, I had lost 11 pounds. Not sure where I’ll be tomorrow, but I suspect down a couple more pounds. My skin looks and feels better (probably again a combo of healthier food and more water). I don’t know how I picked up so many bad habits over my life, but I am really working on kicking them! I just turned 38 and by the time I’m 40, I want to be at my goal weight, a non-smoker still and a healthy-eating, debt free, athlete.

Car is paid off!

Woohoo! This has been a huge monkey on my back! I had a car, that I traded in and got myself upside down. And if that wasn’t enough, I then traded that car in and got even further upside down. Now, I have a car that I hope will last at least three more years and is paid for! Yay!

Oh Valentine's Day!!!

I have been doing really great for a few weeks and yesterday, I completely blew it! I went to lunch with a friend and then out to dinner with my husband. We had a late dinner and I went to bed feeling completely miserable! And I woke up feeling miserable! And this morning, I decided I was getting back on the wagon and I had a sensible breakfast, but have been eating Skittles all day long! Ugh! Today was my weigh in day and I actually gained 2.4 pounds this week, which I suspect was water weight from all the salty food yesterday. At any rate, I’m getting back to it, because even if I gained last week, I am still down 9 pounds in three weeks and I should have a good loss this week if I eat right and drink water. I’m trying to not feel bad about having a day off, because that’s life, right? Even when I hit my goal weight, that’s not saying I’m never going to have a cupcake again. Everything in moderation.
