How I did it: Was scheduled to leave India, come to US. The kids' summer vacation was coming up; Chabs was used to coming over for the holidays, was Nips' first time. Planned office work so that could work-from-home for part of the week. Boss was very supportive. Had a blast .. real blast! From all the morning cajoling to wake up, to the nightly ritual of putting two very hyperactive excited kids to bed one long experienc never forgetten. Read how I did it…

Awestruck 
How I did it: Went to Vegas for a week; did a 4 day road trip along West Rim, Sedona and Route-66. Heavenly time. Spent a day at the West Rim; took the bus trip, no other option, private vehicles are not allowed. Also took a chopper ride; aerial view of the canyons and the Colorado river is worth the cost; also got the do a river ride in the motorboat. Relieved
How I did it: Nothing was working out, so signed up with a career coach. Was lucky to have a really wonderful mentor. Set myself a target, and maybe luck favored, but I got an interview call. Next was the result of the preparation with my coach.. and maybe some more good luck :) Read how I did it…

Was the obvious choice for 31-Dec-2008, but instead decided to get local and celebrated at Boston First Night. Great experience, glad I did it!

Wanted to go to Boston this 4th July (2009), but instead spent a great morning at the 5K Sparkler run in Merrimack, watched the fireworks at Holman stadium in my town (Nashua).
