It’s cliche, I know. But only because it’s so important- the only exception being, of course, homework. But seriously, whatever you want to do… there is no reason not to go for it. There’s no way you’ll get to where you want to be unless you start in that direction; and the sooner you start, the sooner it’ll be done. And I don’t know about you, but… I’d much rather take a chance and possibly have something turn out badly than not take the chance and wonder what would have happened. That way, I know that I did all I could and I have no regrets. And nobody is perfect at everything, so there’s no shame in trying and failing. But you can miss out on so much by not taking chances because along with missing the bad outcomes, you’re missing the good ones too. And just one good one can sometimes be worth a million bad ones.

I’m used to having such a close group of girls at home, and although I have some great friends here so far I want to develop those friendships to that level. There are some amazing people here that I keep telling myself I should get to know or get to know better and I don’t get around to it… and that needs to change.
