How I did it: I bought tennis shoes and put one foot in front of the other! I had decided that I wanted to start running again, after running 7 years earlier in high school. I used to love running, and I wanted to get back into it. How I did it: I did my research and headed to the local bike shop to get measured. Then, instead of spending $500 on a low-level new bike at the cycling place, I went on Craigslist (we lived in a bigger city) and found an extremely nice road bike, that was just my size for $400. How I did it: When my husband and I set out to adopt we wanted a baby girl. We found out she had a sister, and adopted her as well. When I got to Africa to pick up my kids, I met a little boy who was dying from heart failure.
