Yeah, so I mentioned to my partner how I was all excited about doing this. He replied with something along the lines of, “uh… I drink a little too much for something like that. I’d end up falling out and breaking my neck.” Lol, very valid point. I’m giving up on the loft bed.

I almost made it to 30 without setting foot inside a Chuck E. Cheese’s. It was everything I imagined. Loud and grimy. Terrible food. Really though, what would you expect of a place represented by a giant rat? My son seemed to have a good time. We told him we’d take him back there next year at this time (already dreading that). Hopefully we’re not ever subjected to a birthday party there – I hear that’s much worse.
I have wanted to do this since high school. This guy I knew had a little squeezebox and this desire to play has been rattling around my head for the past… Wow, almost 15 years! If I’ve wanted to do it for this long, well… I think it’s a sign that it’s not just some whim I can get over without actually doing it. I don’t want to by lying on my death bed regretting never having learned to play the accordian!
ps – My boyfriend (and anyone else I mention this to) has a great old laugh. “You want to learn how to do what?” =P
