Yep. This one happened a year plus a few months past our 30th wedding anniversary, but we took off for a week to cruise the western Carribean. The cruise was very nice. We did it on our terms this time: never sat for a scheduled dining room meal, slept a whole lot, skipped one port visit completely, read numerous books, and gained only 3 pounds. Ahhhh, nice!
Trolling behind a 30’ party boat off the coast of Venezuela a few months ago wasn’t something that I planned to do…but I did, caught a few fish, and didn’t get sea sick. I see this as a step in the right direction. I look forward to a chance to try again on a bigger boat and in (perhaps) rougher water. But I am marking this off my list simply because I didn’t get sea sick…a first for me.
