Great sense of accomplishment

My MA is in film and for a while I taught on the college level and did some other film-related things. Now I develop software, which is infinitely more creative but which my sense of linear movement is certainly fed by.
It’s also just great to do nothing but spend time in an academic setting enriching your mind. And sometimes that selfishness is a really healthy thing.
Scarey, stressful, but good in the long run

I changed jobs, cities, homes, and had to start all over again in terms of friends in 2006. It had it’s ups and downs, but I am 6 months in and it was absolutely the right decision. Worth taking the risk!
