I became a vegetarian in August, 2006. I was 10 years old. Needless to say, my parents were worried about my decision. They didn’t believe I’d get enough nutrients and protein to be healthy. I researched vegetarian recipes and consulted my pediatrician. Although nobody thought I’d stick with it, I haven’t eaten meat since. Not only do I believe this choice was a good one morally, it has also made me healthier. If I can do it, so can you!
