Have found that saying no to people sometimes is no big deal, and confidence and assertiveness is more attractive than being all wishy-washy like I have been for so long. I’m not sure why or how I got that way, but I really make an effort now to live my life the way I want, not just for others. Nobody appreciates that anyway, so why do it??!!

I found another job – a better one of course – with higher pay. Life’s too short to do a job you hate.

I am now OK with 6 hours a night, as long as I allow myself to wake naturally once a week so I can get any catch up sleep I need (usually only 1 extra hour required). Definately getting more done with my extra 2 hours a day, hurrah! Take that mother nature, I win again!

I’ve splashed out and bought a book/cd/flashcard kit just so that the investment will encourage me to continue with this one. I hate seeing money go to waste…

I don’t act judgementally, and nobody would even perceive that I am judging them because I am quite friendly, but I do make judgements based on the stupidest things. I’m not sure if its a habit or if its part of my character though.

I know I can do it because I often go through fitness phases were I do exercise daily. I am just in real couch potato mode at the moment. I am also trying to achieve other goals, so deprioritise this one, which is not necesary.

The irony is that I often unwittingly offend people with my sense of humour, yet I have no guts when it comes to asserting myself because I don’t like to upset people.

I did start learning spanish, but as with all my great projects I let it slide and now can’t remember anything. Would be happy if I was managing to practice 3 times a week.

I bubble with ideas, and start writing lots of articles, but get carried away with the next idea and abandon my previous work. Not smart, and utterly counter-productive.

I am a fairly quick typist and I sort of touch type, but I have too keep looking at the keys which means I waste time by making typos and having to go back to correct. Am thinking of getting one of those typing class cd roms.

I would feel a little better if I spent my internet time doing useful things like researching for work rather than checking myspace every 20 minutes or bidding on even more stuff I don’t need on ebay.

So I can feign sophistication while pusuing my goal of drinking enormous amounts of wine. I don’t spit, people.

God, when I was at uni I read, like, a milion books a week. Now I occasionally pick up a trashy novel or attempt to make myself feel slightly intelligent by taking classic in to work, which i then use as paperweights or coasters.

8 hours a night makes me zombie anyway, and I really resent the wasted time. I function best on 7 hours at the moment, but would like to get by on 6 hours a night or less without being miss cranky pants.

Every day I think, “what the hell am I doing here?”. Every now and then my workmates will say to me, “what the hell are you doing here?”. Sometimes even the customers will say to me, “what the hell are you doing here?”. It all points to one thing…

The ET4 is my baby and I love her, but now that I have fallen in love with riding and with the whole scooter culture, I want to get a bit old-school and move away from the twist-and-go so i can relive my Audrey Hepburn Roman Holiday fantasies.

It started with a tribal armband (oooh, how 1992), then I filled the space above that with a bunch of flames, and now the space below that armband is itching for ink.
