It is okay, but I’m not sure it is all that special. Lots of soy fields, not tofu.

I’ve never been a big starbucks fan for all the reasons people want to stop going. http://www.delocator.net/ would be a great resource for finding great cafes that aren’t Starbucks, only it doesn’t work. Or it doesn’t quite work. It is so close!
What would be sweet is if http://www.tagzania.com/ took off and people would tag their favorite cafes all over the country.
Just make sure you don’t make everything complicated. Pick some plants that will just grow without much attention. Read a bit about companion planting, or just plant a lot of marigolds here and there.
Don’t over fertilized—even with organic fertilizers you can promote all kinds of tender growth that bugs will devour and suddenly you have a buggy organic garden and a lot of work. Find plants that will improve the soil and plants that like the soil you have. And keep going. Some plantings are a disaster, some areas take years before you figure out what is going to work there. That is the sustaining part.
PS.
Winter cover crops are the greatest thing ever, as is compost.
