I went to my first one ever, yesterday, and it doesn’t count. I got the ticket free and it was a good event but, had I had the choice, I would have gone to see artists I like.

My friend has been counselling me recently, guy trouble, and she said, in a nutshell ‘you don’t love yourself’. I was so mad. It’s taken me 27 years to feel comfortable in my body, and I resented the fact that she thought I hadn’t reached that goal. But the truth is, she’s right. If I can still allow people to treat me badly, and put that blame onto myself, then I still have work to do. But I’m not sad about it! This goal, I’m particularly looking forward to.
I’m a huge fan of fantasy fiction. I used to read A LOT of it when I was younger. It was pure escapism for me. I’ve noticed, and I’m sure I’m not the only one, that there’s a lack of ethnic characters out there. I want to write a fantasy series that fills this gap, bringing in new audiences. It’s such a good genre, and the likes of J.K. Rowling, Stephenie Meyer and Karen Chance have given it a new lease of life.
