How I did it: I've honestly never considered myself a runner - so I never thought this was possible. I'm happy to say that not only have I run a mile, but I'm up to almost 3 miles! I am hoping to run my first formal 5k soon... and that gets me to how I did it: Couch to 5K program. Loved it, still haven't even completed it - but it totally got me up and running!
