I have missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I have lost almost 300 games. On 26 occasions I have been entrusted to take the game winning shot and missed. And I have failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why, I succeed.

Daily: Reflect on 5 things for which I'm grateful. (read all 843 entries…)

I was grateful for…

1. – A restful day off. Though it did include some paperwork for my business… but mostly I had a day off. :-)

2. – Morning rain showers.

3. – Finding some recipes from a place I used to be the sous chef at. The place is closed now and I had thought that I wouldn’t be able to replace these recipes… best desserts ever! :-)

4. – Being able to spend some time working in my garden. I finally had to come inside because it was getting too dark outside, but it was a lovely evening.

5. – My Kindle… it makes reading and finding good books to convenient.

I was grateful for…

1. – Time to get some things done around the house.

2. – Noticing that most of the seeds I planted in my garden have started to sprout and come up through the soil.

3. – Having enough time to mow my grass before it rained. It takes about three hours on a large tractor to mow my lawn, about four acres.

4. – Rain showers… I love hearing the sound of water hit the metal roof of my house and covered front porch… but I also love it when nature waters my garden for me. :-)

5. – Simple, tasty vegetarian foods.
