I first wante to visit Nepal after reading a missionary biography from Drs. Tom & Cynthia Hale. I had the opportunity to go last year, and I took it. Some of the reasons that drew me, was the exotic tales I read, the grand majestic beauty of the world’s highest peaks, and the strength of character the Nepali seemed to possess. Although my actual experience did not match my idealized pictures, I had a wonderful time. My favorite memories revolve around the beautiful people I was blessed to meet. Radiant smiles, stories of hardship borne with dignity and thankfulness, hospitality and friendliness offered without strings…I loved it and glad that I accomplished one of my life dreams. :)

God's glory

With all the electricity dominating our modern scape, the beauty of the amazing universe is dimmed. One obstacle I have to doing this is I often get seasick on a boat. Perhaps I’ll discover the right amount of ginger root to head off seasickness. The wonder I would experience…Getting to see God’s masterpiece of the universive unadulterated…As I have no immediate plans, this one is certainly a dream for the future.

I have already bought a certificate to do this. Two of my friends are joining me. My actual birthday, May 19th, was the first scheduled trip, but was canceled by the company. Potential future dates include July 8th or July 15th.
