I downloaded this from Project Gutenberg some time ago. Guess I should read it, eh? Be aware, there’s an illustrated version out there too, which is interesting if you have the bandwidth.

I warn you now… you may think you want to fill your iPod, but what happens then? A: You find more music/files/etc. and you need a larger iPod. Then you seriously consider the 60gb iPod Photo and start making a justification-list about why you should spend the $600. This is called addiction, people.
If you're fan.

More power to you. I think it’s a highly-enjoyable series, especially if you’re already a Stephenson fan. I read Thomas Pynchon’s Mason & Dixon before reading the Baroque Cycle-which is an excellent exercise in itself-and I felt that Pynchon’s stylistic approach was only approximated in Stephenson’s work. The Baroque Cycle is a minor letdown in that sense, but remains the more accessible and memorable story.
