Had my IELTS test today, will know the results in two weeks. Everything went smoothly, so the result should be good. I already have the CPE (Proficiency), which apparently is in the 8-9 bandwidth of IELTS, so I hope the result to be around there!

I’ve set up an appointment for a starter talk with a NZ emigration specialist on Sat 28th March 2009. This is just to assess my chances/get tips how to enhance them, answer some questions etc. I can then decide how to proceed, and if I want to get further help from him or not. This starter talk costs CHF 350 – which I think is a good investment.
What I do know is that unless I find out during my one-month trip this July/August that I totally hate the NZ winter/lost my love for the country, and unless the specialist tells me I have no chance whatsoever to get in, I will proceed with my emigration plans.
