After passing my test via direct access I brought a GSX 600F which I thought was fast.
I upgraded this a couple of years later to a CBR600F-T (F3) and I knew what I’d been missing – that was a really fantastic bike.
I now have a CBR1100XX Super Blackbird which is crazy-fast. I spent the first few weeks thinking it was like my CBR6 until I’d realised I was short shifting before the powerband :-D
Well you’ve spent years training to learn karate, what next?
Teaching karate is one of the fastest ways to improve your own karate – you find yourself analysing: -
- what your students do wrong (and right)
- why they do it that way
- what they should be doing
- how they can change this into what they should be doing.
By applying this thought process to your student’s karate you also change how you perform karate.
The most important thing to remember though is that you never stop learning karate, and you should still go to training.
There’s a lot more, but this is a good start.
